You are a highly organized, detail-oriented professional with a strong technical understanding of photography workflows and an eye for aesthetic detail. You thrive in a fast-paced studio environment, balancing precision with efficiency as you manage images from capture to final delivery. Whether it’s setting up equipment, troubleshooting technical issues, or collaborating with photographers, stylists, and models on set, you’re proactive and solutions-oriented. You take pride in keeping files and folders meticulously organized, ensuring accuracy at every step from image selection and cropping to color correction and retouching review. About The Role

We’re looking for a detail-driven Digitech to support our ecommerce and editorial photo shoots. This role is essential to keeping our image workflow organized, accurate, and on schedule. From managing photo capture on set to coordinating retouching and final delivery, the Digitech ensures every product is presented clearly, consistently, and beautifully. You’ll collaborate closely with photographers, stylists, and models to capture the best views of each look while also managing the technical and organizational side of production. Responsibilities include:

  • Manage product photos during on set ecommerce shoots, organizing each look's set of photos into SKU-labeled folders
  • Ensure proper camera and computer settings are accurate for each shooting session, and provide tech support as needed
  • Select and crop the best images for each styled look
  • Collaborate and communicate with Web Stylist, Photographer, and Model to get the best views of the product, including directing models and calling out visual inconsistencies
  • Brighten exposure on each individual image and color correct product if needed
  • Create and maintain set sheets and contact sheets
  • Oversee file management, including exporting images and ensuring they are synced to Dropbox after each session for delivery to external retouching team
  • Coordinate and communicate with retouching team to ensure photos are returned the following business day, including watching for discrepancies and errors
  • Approve retouched images for final upload to website, including transferring approved images to virtual assistant and communicating to them when ready
  • Ensure all technical equipment is running smoothly and alert manager if maintenance is needed

Qualifications & Experience

  • 2+ years of experience
  • Deep technical understanding of photography workflows, file management, and export best practices
  • Experience using Capture One, and technical equipment such as studio lighting and Canon cameras
  • Excellent organizational skills and detail orientation
  • Strong communicator, both written and verbal
  • Comfortable supporting production crews
  • Aesthetic eye for detail

Compensation

This is an ongoing, project-based role that is available on a weekly basis. Project fee will be anywhere from $150-$750 per shoot depending on product quantity.
