We stand behind the quality and fit of all our products and always want to make sure that you're 100% satisfied with your purchase. We want you to love the pieces that you purchase from us forever! Our Return Policy varies depending on whether you purchased your item in store or online. Our policy also differs for International and European Union shoppers. Please scroll down to the International section for that policy.

ONLINE RETURN POLICY - UNITED STATES
We will happily accept returns or exchanges on full-price, unworn, unwashed, unaltered merchandise with tags within 14 days of the purchase date. Merchandise must be received back in the store within 14 days of the purchase date. Returns are subject to a $10 return shipping fee. Exchanges do not incur a return shipping fee. All Sale merchandise is FINAL SALE and not eligible for return or exchange. Sale items are NOT eligible for Try Before You Buy. If your Try Before You Buy order contains a Sale item, you will be charged for the item at the end of your trial. Please do not use shoe boxes to ship footwear--footwear and shoe box must be shipped within a larger box. Footwear must include the original shoe box in its original condition, without postage labels.

IN STORE RETURN POLICY
Because you were able to touch and feel the item, as well as try it on for fit and size with the help of our stylists, we will accept returns and exchanges for store credit on full price, unworn, unwashed, unaltered merchandise with tags within 10 days of the purchase date. All Sale merchandise is FINAL SALE and not eligible for return or exchange. Please contact the stylist that helped you with your purchase to begin your return, or email info@hampdenclothing.com if you're not sure who helped you.

FULL-PRICE ITEM VS. SALE ITEM
All Sale Merchandise, is FINAL SALE and not eligible for return or exchange. Full-price merchandise is anything that has not been "hardmarked" on sale with a line through it. Sale merchandise is anything with a slash through the original price and a red discounted price next to it. Red sale priced items are FINAL SALE and are not eligible for return or exchange. If you use a coupon code on a full-price item, it is still considered full-price and can be returned for a full refund according to the above return policy. Sale items are NOT eligible for Try Before You Buy. If your Try Before You Buy order contains a Sale item, you will be charged for the item at the end of your trial. Sale items are not eligible for returns through Try Before You Buy.

RETURNING AN ONLINE ORDER IN PERSON
You're welcome to bring your online order return to our store instead of shipping it to avoid the $10 return shipping fee. Please note that online order returns are subject to the return policy detailed above under "Online Return Policy." Online order returns are handled separately by an e-commerce associate, and may not be able to be processed immediately. Any in-store purchases made while you're dropping off an online order return will be rung up separately.

International Returns & EU Right of Withdrawal

CUSTOMERS WITHIN THE EUROPEAN UNION - EU RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
Starting June 19th 2026, EU customers have the right to withdraw from many contracts within 14 days of receiving your order, without providing any reason, as provided under the EU Consumer Rights Directive.

Please note that under Article 14(1) of Directive 2011/83/EU, customers are responsible for the cost of return shipping. A prepaid label will be provided through our withdrawal portal; the label cost will be deducted from your refund. We will issue your refund within 14 days of receiving notification of your cancellation, or, if later, once we have received the returned goods or you have provided proof that the goods have been shipped back to us.

Under Article 14(2) of Directive 2011/83/EU, the customer is liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling of the goods other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods. For example: the consumer should only try on a garment and should not be allowed to wear it. If the consumer exercises their right of withdrawal after having used the goods to an extent more than necessary, then they will be liable for any diminished value of the goods. This value will be deducted from the refund.

In accordance with Article 13(2) of Directive 2011/83/EU, we are not required to refund supplementary shipping costs above standard delivery, so if you paid for expedited shipping, only the standard shipping amount will be refunded to you.


INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS NOT WITHIN THE EUREOPEAN UNION
We will happily accept returns or exchanges on full price, unworn, unwashed, unaltered merchandise with tags within 14 days of the purchase date, however we do not provide free return shipping. All Sale merchandise is FINAL SALE and not eligible for return or exchange, except where prohibited by EU Right of Withdrawal requirements. Please do not use shoe boxes to ship footwear--footwear and shoe box must be shipped within a larger box. Footwear must include the original shoe box in its original condition, without postage labels.

EXCHANGE RATES AND DUTIES
For international returns that meet our return policy, the refund amount will reflect current conversion rates on the day of the refund. We do not refund any duties and taxes that you may have paid, except where EU legal requirements apply. We recommend shipping using a service that gives you a tracking number--we are not responsible for packages lost in transit back to us.
