In 2008, Saloni Lodha realized her dream was to create a brand that would take the rich heritage she grew up in and blend it with the global, peripatetic life she was living and in 2011, she launched her eponymous womenswear label. Saloni draws inspiration from her childhood spent surrounded by the vivid colors of her grandmother's sarees and the cherished memories of summers spent visiting Jain temples on family holidays in Rajasthan. It is this sensibility, coupled with her busy day-to-day life as a mother with offices in Hong Kong and London, that motivates her to create a wardrobe that empowers women to experience the unabashed joy of living in different hues. Over the past decade, Saloni has garnered a loyal following in women of all ages who come to her for her exacting sense of color, cut and imaginative collections that are imbued with exoticism, femininity and playful elegance.
