Q: Where did your love of fashion stem from?
A: Throughout my childhood, I was fascinated with 1950's and 1960's cinema. From American in Paris to Funny Face, Roman Holiday and To Catch a Thief, I was transfixed on a films' ability to tell a story as much as how it brought fashion center stage. Even at an early age, the concept of personal style became rooted in me with the likes of Audrey Hepburn, Cary Grant, Grace Kelly, Katharine Hepburn, Fred Astaire, Esther Williams, and Gene Kelly. Their individual, unique styles helped sharpen my style-focused lens of the world, and sparked a lifetime interest in the art (and business) of fashion.

Q: How would you describe your personal style?
A: Just like Taylor Swift, my personal style has encompassed many different eras. My current one? Feminine, timeless with a dash of color and a hint of coastal.
Q: What are your styling go-to's?
A: You'll typically find me wearing a bold statement dress in a bright, memorable color paired with classic heels, and a small yet sleek handbag. Jewelry always consists of either statement earrings or a statement necklace. Striped pieces are never too far away - especially for layering. Whether it's a dress, cardigan, jacket or sweater, stripes always add a thoughtful layer to any outfit. Lastly, I'm also a big proponent of color blocking, color psychology, and knowing what colors look best on your skin tone. Can you tell I love color?

Q: What inspires your current style?
A: Travel, definitely travel. Between my full-time job as Chief Strategy Officer of an award-winning communications agency and blogging on Style Charade since 2008, I'm constantly traveling for business and personal purposes. My love of travel and fashion have been completely intertwined as I've experienced both domestic and international destinations. I love being a sponge to the world and becoming fully immersed in different cultures and seeing how people dress in various destinations. Whether it's experiencing the Maldives, cruising the Fjords in Norway, snowmobiling in Finland, tasting spices in Grenada, experiencing coffee culture in Panama City, or cocktail culture in Belgrade, I'm constantly inspired by how people dress for the day. Ultimately, by widening my world, my personal style evolves with it.
