In the artist's words: " This was Tom Petty’s solo debut even though most of the Heartbreakers played on the album. Full moon fever was a huge success with hits like Free Fallin’, Yer So Bad and Running Down a Dream. I remember the year this album came out you couldn’t listen to the radio without hearing Free Fallin. This was the second Tom Petty album I created after the debut album. The art for the album features a spin on a vintage rock poster over a neutral background. I started the project by embroidering the background with neutral colored yarns. I created the vintage poster as an appliqué using wool thread for a vintage feel.  "
