Careers - Ecomm Orders Assistant

The Position

Hampden is seeking an ecomm orders assistant that supports the e-commerce department. They fulfill all online orders, and ensure that they're prepared for the distribution center for pickup twice a day. This person pays double attention to every single detail, excels in communicating within a dynamic team, loves to follow a process from start to finish, and knows how to surprise and delight customers with excellent service.

This position is located at our store in downtown Charleston at 314 King Street, and is required to be in-person.

Responsibilities include pulling inventory from the sales floor and backstock, processing orders in Shipstation, quality checking all inventory for damages, coordinating local delivery and store pickup, troubleshooting errors and lost packages, and answering all order emails, phone calls, and texts immediately.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Is familiar with Shopify Plus
  • Is familiar with Shipstation or similar shipping software
  • Is technologically-savvy and learns new systems easily
  • Is extremely detail-oriented
  • Has experience with providing excellent customer service
  • Happy to jump in wherever needed behind the scenes
  • Possesses a positive attitude and enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced, collaborate environment
