Situated on Charleston’s famous King Street, the 10,000 square foot flagship location is housed across three historic buildings that date back to 1878, making Hampden the largest storefront on the iconic street.

About You
As Hampden's E-Commerce Orders Assistant, you'll act as the liaison between the store and the distribution center regarding all things involving online orders. You're someone who revels in the details and excels at making sure every "i" is dotted and every "t" is crossed. You love delighting customers through excellent customer service, and strive to create raving fans of Hampden's e-commerce business. You're someone who can easily transition from one type of task to another, and loves a fast-paced, quickly-changing environment. You are someone who loves to think ahead, loves a schedule and a list, and is super time aware.

About The Role
This role supports Hampden's growing e-commerce business by checking product accuracy while prepping orders for the distribution center. It is your responsibility for verifying that the product in hand is the same product on the order confirmation, as well as ensuring shipping labels are accurate. You'll attend to the Hampden Orders email and phone, and reply immediately to all customer concerns.

  • Create and print shipping labels for outgoing online orders, ensuring total accuracy
  • Ensure all labels are printed and ready for each scheduled Distribution Center pickup
  • Prepare merchandise to be transferred from the store to the Distribution Center for shipping
  • Ensure all customer concerns are resolved immediately

Qualifications and Experience

  • Experience creating shipping and return labels
  • Technologically-saavy

Work Environment

  • The E-Commerce Orders Assistant must be able to stand, walk, bend, and crouch, and lift for 100% of the day. You must be able to stand and sit daily. You must be able to lift at least 40 pounds. Must be available on weekends.
